Stadtstiftung Fürstenau

The Stadtstiftung Fürstenau is a municipal foundation based in Fürstenau, dedicated to sustainably promoting the common good in the city and its districts. Since its establishment in 2013, it has supported projects and initiatives in the fields of child, youth, and elderly care, sports and education, local heritage preservation, as well as nature conservation. Acting as the distribution association for the acceptance levy for Fürstenau and Höne, it operates transparently and competently through an advisory board that reviews incoming applications. The Stadtstiftung supports both operational and funding project work and uses income from the foundation’s assets specifically to strengthen social cohesion locally.

Our goal is to sustainably promote the common good in Fürstenau and its districts. We create and support local institutions and projects, strengthen the cooperation of non-profit organizations, and foster public dialogue to embed the foundation's mission within the community.

The funding programs of the Stadtstiftung Fürstenau are aimed at all individuals and non-profit institutions based in the city of Fürstenau. In particular, projects in the areas of child, youth, and elderly care, sports and education, local heritage and local history, as well as nature conservation and landscape management are supported. Funding is provided to individuals, groups, and organizations that enrich the social, cultural, and ecological life in Fürstenau through their work.
