About the funder

The Stadtteil-Stiftung Hemelingen is a non-profit foundation based in Bremen, founded in 2010. Its goal is to strengthen community cohesion in the five districts of Arbergen, Hastedt, Hemelingen, Mahndorf, and Sebaldsbrück, and to unlock the district's potential by supporting non-profit projects in the fields of education, culture, and social affairs. Since its inception, numerous local initiatives have been supported, including career orientation fairs, children's cultural projects, and intergenerational programs. In addition to financial support, the foundation organizes its own events such as the Bürgerbrunch, the Stiftungsmahl, and the student training fair "prakTISCH."
