Mission & Vision

"We stand by you": The 1. FC Köln Foundation gives back the unique loyalty and support of the region to people who are on the margins of society. It aims to motivate more individuals and institutions to actively participate and demonstrates that everyone can take on social responsibility within sports and beyond. Through sport and a sense of community, the foundation creates positive impulses, promotes social skills, and strengthens togetherness.

Target groups

The target group includes socially disadvantaged individuals in Cologne and the surrounding area, especially children and young people facing physical, financial, or social barriers. Furthermore, the foundation addresses people in special life situations (e.g., refugees, unemployed, homeless), non-profit organizations, and local cooperation partners aiming to implement projects in the fields of education, health, integration, and violence prevention.
