Mission & Vision
The foundation is committed to making democracy experienced as a value that is not to be taken for granted and to taking a stand against anti-democratic tendencies. Based on the values of Adam von Trott – commitment to a united Europe, civil courage, and political responsibility – it creates spaces for encounter, reflection, and historical-political education. The goal is to encourage people to defend democratic values and to actively assume responsibility in society and politics.
Target groups
The foundation's offerings are aimed at multipliers and institutional target groups: pupils, students, teachers, police officers, as well as politically interested individuals from civil society and administration. Through workshops, seminars, exhibitions, and conferences, the foundation addresses both experts and laypersons who wish to engage with democracy education, European integration, and the history of resistance against National Socialism.
