The Stiftung Bamberger Symphoniker – Bayerische Staatsphilharmonie is a public-law foundation based in Bamberg. Mission & Vision

Our mission is to provide ongoing support to the Bamberger Symphoniker as Bavaria’s musical ambassador and to enable their artistic excellence. We strive to make the “Bamberg Sound” experienced worldwide, to inspire audiences, and to assume cultural and ecological responsibility through sustainable funding.

Target groups

The foundation is aimed at public funding bodies and private patrons who wish to support the artistic development and international presence of the Bamberger Symphoniker. It particularly promotes instrumentalists of the Orchestra Academy, projects for music education, as well as special formats for a broad, global audience.
