About the funder
The St. Johannes Foundation is a church foundation under public law based in Marxheim-Schweinspoint (Donau-Ries district). As a member of the Caritas Association for the Diocese of Augsburg e. V., it has been accompanying, promoting, and supporting adults with disabilities for over 150 years. With more than 900 residential and work places as well as outpatient care services, it is today one of the most important service providers for disability assistance in Swabia and adjacent Upper Bavaria. The foundation offers a wide range of services: from inclusive leisure and educational programs to outpatient and inpatient living arrangements, as well as animal-assisted therapy, pastoral care, and individual counseling.

Mission & Vision
The St. Johannes Foundation shapes life together with people with disabilities. We focus on individual support, inclusion, and participation. With passion and a Christian mission, we offer needs-based assistance and create spaces for encounters where every person is respected and valued. Our goal is a self-determined, fulfilling life in community.
Target groups
The St. Johannes Foundation is aimed at adults with intellectual, psychological, or physical disabilities, as well as their relatives and caregivers. In addition, volunteers and helpers who organize inclusive leisure and educational activities are supported. Institutional partners such as the church, Caritas association, and municipalities are also part of our target group.
