About the funder
The Benno Kittl Foundation is a non-profit foundation under civil law based in Freilassing, Bavaria. It was founded in 2013 by entrepreneur Benno Kittl. Its central mission is to support talented but financially disadvantaged young people in Germany and Austria. Since its beginnings in 2000, the foundation has promoted talents in the fields of music, sports, art, culture, theater, and natural sciences through financial grants for tuition fees, course costs, travel expenses, and further training. The goal is to develop individuals into well-rounded, cultured adults who contribute their special abilities to society in the long term.

Mission & Vision

Target groups
The foundation supports pupils, students, and trainees up to the age of 26 with residence in Germany or Austria. Only applicants who can demonstrate outstanding talents and achievements in the fields of music, sports, art, culture, theater, languages, or natural sciences and have limited financial resources are eligible for funding. Proof is provided through letters of recommendation, certificates, or sports result lists.
