Non-profit organization

About the funder

The "Bewegt Menschen" Foundation was established in 2004 by the Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund Bonn/Rhein-Sieg/Eifel e. V. as a trust foundation under the umbrella of the "Gemeinsam Handeln" Foundation. It exclusively and directly pursues charitable purposes within the meaning of the German Tax Code, particularly in the fields of welfare, youth and elderly care, public health, as well as emergency and disaster relief. With an initial capital endowment of €5,000, the foundation supports local projects that are otherwise difficult to finance, such as child and youth welfare, first aid training in schools, further training for care personnel, and school medical services. Funding is provided in the form of grants for personnel, material, and project costs. The foundation operates independently of political and religious affiliations and focuses its support on the Bonn area and the Rhein-Sieg district.
