STIFTUNG: BILDUNG! EGITIM! Kompetenzentwicklung für Menschen zwischen den Kulturen

Since its founding in 2012 in Berlin, the STIFTUNG: BILDUNG! EĞİTİM! has been committed to the skills development of young people with a migration background in Germany. Its wide range of activities includes nationwide mentoring projects (KomMENT), bilingual reading competitions in primary schools, and dialogue events with teachers and students. The foundation sees itself as a bridge-builder between cultures and aims to promote the potential of youth with migration backgrounds, close gaps in their educational foundations, and thereby strengthen their integration into school, vocational training, and employment.

The FOUNDATION: EDUCATION! EĞİTİM! pursues the mission of providing young people from diverse cultural backgrounds in Germany with better opportunities for success in school, university, and career through targeted educational and mentoring programs. It views education as the key to social participation and aims to create sustainable momentum for equal opportunities and intercultural dialogue through networks of mentors, schools, universities, and practical partners.

The foundation's funding programs are aimed at secondary school students in grades 5 to 12 with a migration or refugee background, particularly ninth graders at secondary modern and intermediate schools, as well as university students and young professionals starting their careers. In addition, teachers, mentors from migrant academic communities, and civil society partners are involved as active facilitators and supporters in dialogue and qualification formats.
