Stiftung Bischof Badurad
About the funder
The purpose of the Stiftung Bischof Badurad is the promotion of music, art, and culture in the Archdiocese of Paderborn. It focuses particularly on the cathedral music at the High Cathedral of Paderborn, provides ongoing support for the girls' choir, and supports the International Music Days at the Cathedral of Paderborn on a three-year cycle. The foundation is named after Bishop Badurad (815–862), who played a key role in advancing the construction of the cathedral and the monasteries of Corvey and Böddeken, and who transferred the relics of Saint Liborius to Paderborn.
