About the funder
The Brandenburger Tor Foundation is a cultural foundation of the Berliner Sparkasse, headquartered in the historic Max Liebermann House at Pariser Platz. Inspired by the Brandenburg Gate as a symbol of unity and new beginnings, it supports exhibitions, educational programs, and cultural policy debates. Its goal is to convey values such as freedom, tolerance, and democratic dialogue through contemporary art and aesthetic education. Its work includes temporary exhibitions, family tours, workshops, tactile and tandem tours, as well as formats related to cultural policy.

Mission & Vision
Strengthening democracy through culture – the Stiftung Brandenburger Tor is committed to promoting art and culture as a unifying force in society. It regards culture as an indispensable part of civil society, enabling encounters, conveying values, and stimulating dialogue.
