About the funder
The Evangelical Church Foundation Bad Soden was established in 2006 and is subject to the supervisory authority of the Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau. It is recognized as a non-profit organization by the Wiesbaden tax office and authorized to issue donation receipts. The purpose of the foundation is to ensure the sustainable support of the work of the Evangelical Church Congregation Bad Soden. With the initial capital of €115,000, which has grown to over €900,000 by 2025, and the income generated therefrom, at least €10,000 is annually contributed to the unrestricted parish budget. The foundation’s capital remains permanently preserved, while the proceeds are directed towards projects and activities of the congregation – ranging from daycare centers to cultural and musical offerings, as well as intergenerational encounters.

Mission & Vision
The Evangelical Church Foundation Bad Soden is committed to sustainably strengthening the community life of the Evangelical parish and securing it for future generations. It supports families in raising their children, imparts Christian values to young people, fosters culture and music, and creates spaces for encounters between young and old. Through sustainable capital investment, it ensures the economic independence of the parish and supports innovative projects within parish work.
Target groups
The foundation is aimed at the Evangelical Church Congregation of Bad Soden and its members, particularly families with children, adolescents, and young adults. Among others, it supports the evangelical daycare centers "Im Sonnengarten" and "Unterm Regenbogen," the family center, as well as cultural and intergenerational initiatives. Volunteers and donors who actively support and help develop community life are also part of the target group.
