Stiftung der Kreissparkasse Verden

The Foundation of Kreissparkasse Verden was established in 1995 by Kreissparkasse Verden to continuously improve the quality of life in the district of Verden. The foundation supports charitable projects in various fields such as arts and culture, monument and heritage preservation, nature and environmental protection, youth and elderly care, youth and recreational sports, social affairs, as well as science and research. Since its inception, the foundation has funded more than 800 projects in the district of Verden with approximately 4.7 million euros. A special project is the scientific-technical competition "Formula (Z)ukunft," which has been held in the secondary schools of the district of Verden since 2001.
