Mission & Vision
People with disabilities need our support. The Stiftung der Lebenshilfe Wetzlar-Weilburg e.V. promotes and supports projects that create inclusive living environments for people with disabilities. It provides substantial own funds to implement services for which there is insufficient public funding. According to its statutes, the foundation's purpose includes the inclusion, support, and promotion of people with disabilities in all areas of life, ensuring quality of life, and relieving their relatives.
Target groups
The funding measures are aimed at people with disabilities of all ages and their relatives in the Wetzlar-Weilburg area, including children at the family center or the integrative Peter Härtling primary school, people with autism spectrum disorders at the autism center or in the Up4You group, residents of inclusive housing projects such as "Mitleben," as well as participants in educational, recreational, arts, and sports programs for people with disabilities.
