Funding of the Foundation of Lebenshilfe Wetzlar-Weilburg e.V.

The Stiftung der Lebenshilfe Wetzlar-Weilburg e.V. sustainably supports projects that strengthen the social participation of people with disabilities in Hesse. The focus is on measures that promote inclusion in education, leisure, the world of work, and everyday life, as well as securing the quality of life of those affected. At the same time, the funding aims to relieve family members by supporting offers for psychosocial support and practical relief in family life. As a non-profit foundation under civil law, it is subject to foundation supervision and operates with a board and advisory council in accordance with its statutory objectives.

Non-profit organizations, public institutions, companies, and also private individuals are eligible for funding, provided the projects can be assigned to the areas of inclusion or family caregiver relief and appropriate proof of non-profit status or a suitable project sponsor is submitted. Applications can be submitted continuously and are subject to the foundation’s funding guidelines. Grants are awarded to realize initiatives in all life situations of people with disabilities and to actively relieve family members. Interested initiatives and project sponsors thus have the opportunity at any time to submit innovative concepts and achieve a long-term positive impact on social cohesion.
