Stiftung der Volksbank Lübbecker Land<br>"Von Menschen für Menschen unserer Region"

The Stiftung der Volksbank Lübbecker Land and Volksbank Schnathorst "From People for People of Our Region" was founded in 2010. It supports initiatives, associations, and non-profit organizations exclusively in the Lübbecker Land – between Dümmer and Werre – and contributes to the realization of sustainable projects with a project-oriented approach and the aim of promoting self-help. The funded areas include, among others, sports, culture, social assistance services, and cardiac safety. Over time, the foundation has supported more than 30 projects, including the provision of currently 32 publicly accessible defibrillators in the region. The work is coordinated by a board of trustees consisting of eight committed citizens in coordination with the executive board.

"From people for people of our region" – Our goal is to support the commitment of individuals and non-profit organizations dedicated to enhancing the attractiveness and quality of life in our predominantly rural homeland. We promote sustainable initiatives with a project focus and aim to provide help for self-help in order to strengthen the community in the Lübbecker Land.

The funding opportunities are aimed at individuals, clubs, and non-profit organizations in the Lübbecker Land region who are committed to enhancing the attractiveness, community spirit, and quality of life in the area. Priority is given to projects with a sustainable character that serve the public benefit purposes in accordance with §§ 52–54 of the German Fiscal Code, as well as initiatives that assume civic responsibility or pursue charitable, benevolent, or ecclesiastical objectives.
