The Foundation of the Junior Chamber International Braunschweig in the district of the Braunschweig Chamber of Industry and Commerce was established in 2014 and represents the philanthropic commitment of the local Junior Chamber members. Since 1977, the Junior Chamber members in the Braunschweig IHK district have been involved in projects related to education, youth development, and business start-ups. The establishment of the foundation aims to ensure the sustainable support of non-profit initiatives from the region and to strengthen the local network of companies and volunteers.

The foundation aims to sustainably support charitable projects in the IHK district of Braunschweig by pooling financial resources, voluntary commitment, and professional expertise. It sees itself as a bridge between business and civil society and seeks to contribute to the promotion of education, youth development, and environmental awareness through targeted support.

Regional non-profit initiatives and projects in the areas of education, children and youth, nature & environment, science & research, as well as international affairs & culture are supported. Target groups are primarily schools, associations, youth organizations, and local sponsors seeking to implement innovative, sustainable, and community-oriented projects within the district of the Braunschweig Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
