About the funder
The Foundation of the Support Association for Children with Cancer Tübingen was established in 1998 as a civil law foundation to provide long-term and reliable support for medical research and care in the pediatric oncology department of the University Children's Hospital Tübingen. It finances research projects, the training and further education of specialized personnel, as well as psychosocial support services, and facilitates families' access to specialized offerings. The foundation generates income from its capital stock, which predominantly originates from testamentary dispositions, and promotes charitable as well as scientific purposes in the field of public health care.

Mission & Vision
Together with the Förderverein, we combat cancer in children by strengthening research, care, and psychosocial support. We provide continuous funding commitments to promote innovative treatment approaches and relieve families during difficult times. Our goal is to improve the chances of cure for children with cancer through united efforts and to establish sustainable structures for comprehensive care.
Target groups
The foundation is aimed at children and adolescents with cancer, their parents, siblings, and grandparents, as well as the medical staff of the University Children's Hospital Tübingen. It particularly supports research projects and care services that directly benefit the affected families and additionally promotes the training and further education of doctors, nurses, and psychosocial caregivers.
