About the funder
The Stiftung Deutsche Jugendmarke e. V. was founded in 1965 and is a public foundation dedicated to supporting child and youth welfare projects in Germany. The foundation is financed through the sale of special postage stamps, which are issued annually by the Federal Ministry of Finance. The proceeds from these stamps are used to support innovative projects, construction initiatives, and practice-oriented research projects. Since its inception, the foundation has funded more than 2,000 projects with over 226 million euros. The supported projects range from the prevention of sexual boundary violations to digital educational platforms and research initiatives in the field of children's hospices.
