Mission & Vision
Our mission: Together for people – against stroke. We provide clear information about stroke risks and encourage a healthy lifestyle, as 70 percent of strokes are preventable. We convey how to recognize a stroke and what to do in an emergency. Those affected and their relatives are at the center of our actions. We act as the voice of the community affected by stroke, engage in dialogue with healthcare stakeholders, and initiate sustainable model projects to structurally improve stroke care.
Target groups
The Stiftung Deutsche Schlaganfall-Hilfe is aimed at stroke survivors and their relatives in Germany, as well as at volunteers (e.g., self-help groups, stroke helpers) and the general public with regard to prevention and education.
