Mission & Vision
"Helping people and saving lives" – that is what we have stood for for over 150 years. Our goal is to provide all people, regardless of origin or life situation, with safety, protection, and support. In doing so, we act according to the seven fundamental principles of the Red Cross Movement: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality.
Target groups
Our services are aimed at all population groups in Duisburg and the surrounding area: families with children, seniors, people in need of support, refugees and immigrants, as well as anyone interested in first aid or wishing to volunteer. We particularly support socially disadvantaged and vulnerable individuals and assist local communities through educational, care, and counseling services.
