Stiftung DPSG Diözesanverband Würzburg
About the funder
The foundation of the German Scout Association Saint George in the Würzburg diocesan association was established in 2004 to increase the foundation capital and thereby permanently support the children and youth work of the DPSG in the Diocese of Würzburg. The interest income from the foundation capital flows directly into projects and activities at the troop, district, and diocesan levels. The foundation consciously invests in experiences and educational offerings for scouts, not in equipment, to enable sustainable experiences for children and young people.

Mission & Vision
The Stiftung DPSG Würzburg is committed to supporting young people in their individual and communal development. It supports creative and educationally valuable projects that provide children and adolescents with access to adventure, experiences in nature, and social engagement. The foundation aims to make a lasting contribution to strengthening the scouting movement in the Diocese of Würzburg and thus promote the assumption of responsibility in church and society.
Target groups
Funding is provided for scouts and groups of the DPSG in the Würzburg diocesan association: children, adolescents, and young adults in the respective age groups (Cub Scouts, Junior Scouts, Scouts, Rover section) as well as group leaders and local troops or districts. Applications can be submitted by all DPSG units within the diocese to finance activities, trips, camps, and educational programs.
