About the funder

In order to preserve the diverse community work even in times of declining church taxes, the "Stiftung Ev.-Luth. Johannes-Kirchengemeinde Hamburg-Rissen" was established in 2010. The foundation consists of a board (Dr. Wolfgang Hildesheim, Pastor Julia Issa, Sylke Arlt) and an advisory council (Albert and Edda Darboven, Michael Schütt, Martin Janzen, Dr. Frithjof Lohmann). It supports financial grants for small and larger projects, the possible funding of personnel positions, and the active shaping of community life in the Rissen catchment area.
