Private foundation

About the funder

The Anatol Buchholtz Foundation for Fine Arts and Architectural Culture – FUX was established in August 2012 as a non-profit foundation from the artistic and financial estate of the sculptor, architect, and association president Anatol Buchholtz. It is based in Kampen on Sylt (regular operations since 2013) with the aim of promoting emerging artists in the fields of fine arts and architectural culture and recognizing outstanding achievements through awards. The foundation operates the studio house "Fuchsbau" on Möwenweg as a publicly accessible venue for exhibitions and studio tours, as well as the permanent exhibition of Anatol Buchholtz's work. It works in close coordination with a professional jury composed of representatives from universities, museums, academia, and cultural administration.
