About the funder
The Foundation for the Region - Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw was established in September 2007 under the motto "With Heart and Hand." It is an initiative of Sparkasse Pforzheim Calw and serves the common good of the region and its inhabitants. Each year, the Citizenship Award is presented to individuals, private initiatives, associations, companies, and institutions from the region who are committed to a specific thematic field. An example of an awarded project is the promotion of lived culture of welcome, tolerance, and humanity in 2015.
