Stiftung für Kinder in Not – Hilfe für Kinder in der Region Biberach

The Children in Need Foundation Biberach was established in 2008 as a regional trust foundation under the umbrella of the Caritas Foundation "Lebenswerk Zukunft." It is dedicated to providing unbureaucratic and rapid assistance to children and adolescents in the Biberach district when state benefits are insufficient. The foundation is managed by the board of trustees and a regionally anchored advisory committee, which, together with partner organizations from the church, education, and youth welfare sectors, determine and oversee the allocation of funds. The foundation supports individual case aid as well as educational and preventive projects to offer disadvantaged children sustainable prospects.

The Children in Need Foundation Biberach is committed to ensuring that all children in our region receive fair opportunities and are not left alone in emergency situations. Our goal is to provide swift, unbureaucratic, and effective support that encourages children and their families, opens up prospects, and strengthens their development in the long term.

Children and adolescents up to 18 years of age residing in the district of Biberach who require special support due to poverty, illness, family crises, or experiences of violence are funded. The foundation works closely with local professionals and provides assistance where public support systems do not reach – individually in specific cases or project-based in cooperation with schools, social institutions, and other partners.
