Stiftung Genshagen
About the funder
The Genshagen Foundation is a non-profit foundation under civil law, whose founders are the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media (BKM) and the State of Brandenburg. It serves as a place of European encounter with a focus on German-French and German-Polish relations as well as the Weimar Triangle. At the intersection of culture and politics, it organizes conferences, seminars, workshops, residencies, and youth projects at Genshagen Palace and its park near Berlin. The aim is to strengthen Europe in its cultural diversity, political capacity for action, social cohesion, and economic dynamism, and to outline new development paths for the European project.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to promote European dialogue, build bridges between Germany, France, and Poland, and make the cultural diversity of Europe tangible. At Schloss and Park Genshagen, we provide a setting for open exchange between young emerging talents and experts from culture, politics, science, and business.
Target groups
The offerings of the Genshagen Foundation are aimed at students, young professionals, and career starters from Germany, France, and Poland, as well as specialists and executives from culture, politics, science, and business. They provide space for networking, exchange of experiences, controversial discussions, and the development of joint solutions for European policy issues.
