Stiftung "Große Hilfe für kleine Helden"
About the funder
The "Große Hilfe für kleine Helden" Foundation was established in November 2009 by Heilbronn entrepreneur Ralf Klenk and unites all previous support associations of the Heilbronn Children's Clinic under one roof. It finances 18 support projects and therapies not covered by health insurance – ranging from hospital clowns and art and music therapy to visitation services, sibling care, and medical equipment. Approximately 500,000 euros are needed annually for these projects. The foundation supports sick children and their families during their inpatient stay at the Heilbronn Children's Clinic as well as during reintegration into everyday life. Donations are used to create a child-friendly clinical environment and holistic therapeutic offerings in which the young patients and their families feel secure.

Mission & Vision
Our goal is to provide sick children and their families with a health-promoting, child-friendly hospital environment and to enable holistic therapy and support services that go beyond purely medical treatment. We support sustainable projects and therapies not covered by health insurers and enhance the quality of life of our "little heroes" through innovative funding programs.
Target groups
The funding programs are aimed at sick children of all age groups as well as their families who are treated at the SLK Clinic for Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine Heilbronn. The foundation supports both inpatient and outpatient patients to make the hospital stay and the subsequent return to everyday life as smooth as possible.
