Stiftung Hamburger Ausbildungs Netzwerk (HANz)
About the funder
The Hamburg Training Network Future Foundation (HANZ) is a non-profit trust foundation under the umbrella of the Haspa Hamburg Foundation. Since its establishment in 2005, it has supported schools and initiatives that enable the attainment of the first general education school leaving certificate (ESA), as well as young people with ESA. HANZ provides support, for example, through the procurement of computers and books, tutoring, and the operation of a digital career orientation and networking platform that connects students, teachers, and companies. The foundation is financed exclusively through private sponsors and donations from the business community.

Mission & Vision
HANZ is committed to equitable career orientation and supports the transition from school to vocational training. Through close collaboration with schools, companies, authorities, and nonprofit partners, HANZ builds bridges for young people, strengthens their potential, and, together with the network, shapes the training landscape in a sustainable and future-oriented manner.
Target groups
HANZ is aimed at young people with a first general education school leaving certificate (ESA), especially those with reduced opportunities and educationally disadvantaged students. Also supported are schools and initiatives that offer the ESA, as well as companies and job ambassadors who wish to support young people in career orientation.
