It was founded in 2007 as the Christian Foundation Solms and renamed Stiftung Herzensprojekte Solms in 2022. Mission & Vision
The Stiftung Herzensprojekte Solms embodies Christian charity and supports projects that offer people in difficult life situations a chance for positive development. Its goal is to share part of its strengths with the vulnerable by supporting regional projects with which it has a personal connection. It aims to strengthen social cohesion across all generations, shape the future with an intact natural environment, and anchor compassion in youth and senior work.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Stiftung Herzensprojekte Solms are aimed at young people to strengthen their personality, promote community projects, and provide leisure and educational opportunities; at seniors to improve their physical and mental well-being through innovative care and support projects; as well as at intergenerational initiatives for mothers, children, the sick, and those in need of care, to foster contacts between young and old and enable mutual support.
