Mission & Vision
We promote science and research in fields that primarily interest SMEs in the industrial mid-sized sector, namely business administration, organization, and technology. Through our commitment, we aim to shape research trends, strengthen knowledge transfer between academia and practice, and motivate early-career researchers to address issues relevant to the mid-sized business sector.
Target groups
The funding programs of the Stiftung Industrieforschung are aimed, on the one hand, at small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the industrial sector that require practical research results. On the other hand, the foundation specifically targets outstanding early-career researchers from engineering, natural sciences, mathematics, and economics who wish to develop and present innovative, application-oriented project ideas within the framework of the Forum Junge Spitzenforschung.
