About the funder
The Integrative Medicine & Pharmacy Foundation is a non-profit consumer foundation established in October 2015. It independently and manufacturer-neutrally supports research, education, and training projects in the field of integrative medicine and pharmacy. Focus areas include complementary therapeutic approaches such as mistletoe therapy and phytotherapeutic methods for cancer and infectious diseases. The goal is the sustainable improvement of the quality of life of patients through support of clinical studies, basic research, and interdisciplinary exchange.

Mission & Vision
The foundation places patient welfare at the center and promotes dialogue between research, therapists, and patients. It is committed to establishing and further developing complementary medical procedures as a supplement to conventional medicine. In doing so, it acts independently, free from manufacturer influence, and in the interest of the public.
Target groups
Funding is primarily provided to scientific institutions, research groups, and clinics that investigate integrative therapeutic approaches. Furthermore, the foundation targets therapists, medical students, pharmacy students, as well as the general public through informational and educational measures on complementary medical procedures.
