About the funder
The "Stiftung Jonathan" is a non-legal entity church foundation under public law within the Evangelical Lutheran Church District of Hildesheim-Sarstedt. It was established by resolution of the Church District Board on April 24, 2018. Its endowment consists of additional contributions and donations that are to be permanently preserved; the proceeds are used to support diaconal projects in disability assistance.

Mission & Vision
The Jonathan Foundation aims to preserve and enhance the quality of life of severely multiply disabled children, adolescents, and young adults up to 27 years of age and their families. It seeks to enable better participation and relief in everyday life for them and their relatives through counseling, financial grants, and project-related support.
Target groups
Funding is provided for children, adolescents, and young adults up to the age of 27 with severe multiple disabilities, as well as their families. The foundation supports both families who care for their disabled child at home and institutions where these children reside. Additionally, volunteers who wish to work in the care of the target group also benefit.
