Mission & Vision
Vision: To showcase Jewish perspectives, to meet and move people. Mission: The Jewish Museum Berlin invites people from diverse backgrounds to engage openly and actively with Jewish history and the present in Germany. It encourages reflection and constructive dialogue, thereby strengthening social cohesion. As a space accessible both physically and digitally, it imparts reliable knowledge about Jewish culture and tradition and presents multifaceted Jewish perspectives.
Target groups
The Jewish Museum Berlin addresses all age and interest groups: Jewish and non-Jewish visitors from Berlin, Germany, and abroad; students, teachers, and families (including offerings in plain language, sign language, and the children's world ANOHA); university students, researchers, and professional audiences (library, reading room, academy programs, and fellowships); multipliers in culture, education, and civil society involved in collaborations. Special programs promote inclusion, digital participation, and networking with social, cultural, and religious institutions.
