About the funder
Kinderhilfe Kambodscha e.V. (KKe.V.), based in Aachen, is a non-profit support association that has been assisting the children's village and the street children program of the Cambodian sister organization KKEV Cambodia in Sen Sok, Phnom Penh since 2004. The aim is to provide disadvantaged and traumatized children aged 2 to 21 with a loving home, educational support, and psychological care. In the children's village, up to 100 children live in family-like groups and receive additional lessons in mathematics, English, Khmer, and computer science, as well as psychological support if needed. The street children program provides up to 120 children from poor families with daily meals, educational support, and preparation for vocational training.

Mission & Vision
Our mission is to support disadvantaged children in need emotionally, academically, and professionally, to lift them out of poverty, and to enable them to lead self-determined lives. We focus on security, belonging, value education, and practical life skills to create sustainable prospects for every child.
Target groups
Children and adolescents in Phnom Penh (Sen Sok) who have no access to education and safe living conditions due to extreme poverty, family neglect, or traumatic experiences are supported. In the children's village, children aged 2–21 live; the street children program supports schoolchildren aged 7–19 to complete their education and later begin vocational training.
