Stiftung "Kirche sein – Region Hannover"

The foundation "Kirche sein – Region Hannover," established in 2005 and officially recognized by the state since 2007, pursues ecclesiastical and charitable purposes and supports the Catholic Church in the Hanover region. It promotes initiatives for socially disadvantaged individuals, pastoral and charitable projects, church-cultural offerings, as well as Catholic daycare centers and schools. Furthermore, youth work and exchange, family and senior citizen work, and adult education are among its areas of support. Through donations and endowments, the foundation expands its financial scope to remain capable of action in the long term. The foundation is tax-exempt and is exclusively and directly committed to charitable and ecclesiastical purposes.

The foundation is committed to promoting the work of the Catholic Church in the Hannover region in all its facets. It aims to support people in social distress, strengthen church communities, enable cultural diversity, and advance education for all ages. With a strong endowment, it seeks to provide sustainable assistance to secure and further develop church life locally in the long term.
