Stiftung Lausitzer Braunkohle

The Lausitz Brown Coal Foundation was established in 2004 and promotes charitable engagement in the Lausitz region with the aim of making the social, economic, and cultural environment more attractive. The core of its work is the support of young people and innovative educational initiatives. Focus areas include youth education, environmental projects, prevention measures, as well as sustainable cultural and language transmission. The foundation awards grants, scholarships, and project funding to non-profit organizations and institutions in the region.

The Lausitzer Braunkohle Foundation is committed to unlocking the potential of young people in Lusatia and strengthening the region during structural transformation. Through financial and ideological support, it aims to initiate creative educational programs, environmental and prevention projects, as well as intercultural initiatives.
