Stiftung Lebensfarben

Public foundation

About the funder

The Lebensfarben Foundation is a non-profit foundation recognized by the State of Berlin in autumn 2000 as a public foundation. Its founder, Hubert Jenner, established the foundation with the aim of enabling integration and participation for people in need—particularly through the provision of suitable housing. The foundation supports tax-privileged social institutions through financial assistance, concept development, consulting, and training. Its own real estate portfolio includes properties at Reichenberger Straße 96 and Britzer Damm 72, which house psychosocial support services and care shared apartments for chronically ill individuals. Since 2019, the cultural sector, including the piano collection, has been managed by the Carl Bechstein Foundation.
