Stiftung Lebenshilfe Krefeld
About the funder
The Stiftung Lebenshilfe Krefeld was established in 1999 by the general assembly of the Lebenshilfe Krefeld e.V. association as an independent foundation under civil law. Its purpose is to secure the charitable commitment of Lebenshilfe Krefeld through long-term foundation capital and to provide funds for measures related to education, care, accommodation, recreation, and sports activities for people with intellectual and multiple disabilities. Through additional donations, inheritances, and interest income, the foundation capital has grown from an initial €150,000 to approximately €900,000. Since 2011, the foundation has been active not only through financial contributions but also operationally, renting housing to people with disabilities.
