About the funder
The LEUCOREA Foundation was established in 1994 as a public law foundation at the Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg to revive academic life at the historic site of the University of Wittenberg. It utilizes the listed building complex of the ‘Fridericianum’ as a modern conference and research center. LEUCOREA promotes research on the history of the Reformation and its cultural impacts up to the present day, organizes conferences, workshops, and graduate forums, and provides infrastructure for national and international scientific events.

Mission & Vision
The LEUCOREA Foundation is committed to continuing the tradition of the University of Wittenberg and providing scientific impetus in research and teaching.
