About the funder

The Möllerstift Foundation is an independent, non-profit foundation under private law based in Bielefeld-Brackwede. It was founded in 1879 by the brothers Theodor Adolf von Möller and Dr. phil. Karl Möller to provide support to the sick, infirm, and elderly. Today, the foundation's capital amounts to approximately 1.4 million euros. The foundation initiates, finances, and supports primarily pilot and cooperative projects in the fields of child and youth development, qualification and employment measures for disadvantaged individuals, as well as elderly care. Its main focus is on the districts of Brackwede, Quelle, and Ummeln, and at all locations of the MöllerGroup.

Mission & Vision

The Möllerstift Foundation is committed to promoting children and young people, providing assistance to individuals in need (physically, mentally, or emotionally impaired), and supporting elderly care. It initiates and accompanies pilot projects, conducts qualification and employment measures, develops concepts for elderly care projects, supports all statutory initiatives, and participates in like-minded non-profit organizations. The foundation operates selflessly and uses its resources exclusively for these charitable purposes.

Target groups

The funding programs of the Möllerstift Foundation are aimed at children and young people in the broadest sense, individuals with physical, mental, or emotional disabilities, those with learning difficulties, former employees of the Möller corporate group in cases of hardship, as well as elderly people within the scope of elderly care.
