About the funder
The Stiftung Neu-Ulm – Helfen mit Herz was established at the beginning of 2008 with a founding capital of 10,000 euros and is held in trust by the Stiftung Wohnstift Neu-Ulm. It supports projects serving the common good in the areas of social affairs, education and upbringing, family, youth and elderly care, environmental protection, as well as culture within the city of Neu-Ulm and its 14 districts. Funding is awarded annually based on project proposals submitted and decided upon by the board of the Wohnstift Neu-Ulm. Since 2010, the Verein zur Förderung der Stiftung Neu-Ulm – Helfen mit Herz e. V. has supported the foundation’s work.

Mission & Vision
"Helping with Heart" connects people in need of support with those who want to help. We promote civic engagement and self-help in Neu-Ulm to sustainably strengthen social cohesion in our city. Together, we shape a city where compassion and solidarity set the tone.
Target groups
Funding applications are directed at non-profit initiatives, associations, and civic-minded groups as well as individuals in the city of Neu-Ulm who carry out projects in the areas of social affairs, education, child, youth, and elderly care, environmental protection, and culture. Projects that serve the common good and are supported by voluntary commitment are funded.
