About the funder

The Stiftung Oase is a non-profit youth foundation based in Wallenhorst/Rulle (Lower Saxony). Since 1988, it has been supporting young people in vocational training, particularly socially disadvantaged and socially disengaged trainees. The foundation organizes multi-day "Get Away" seminars with overnight stays and full board, team coaching for vocational school teachers, as well as scientific support (e.g., expertise by Dr. Eckhard Schiffer). By 2017, over 603 courses with more than 10,000 participants had been conducted. The foundation has capital exceeding one million euros and is supported, among others, by the Stiftung Stahlwerk Georgsmarienhütte, the ARD Television Lottery, and numerous private individuals.

Target groups
