About the funder
The Stiftung Oderbruch was founded by committed individuals from the Oderbruch region as a non-profit, fiduciary foundation. It is economically, politically, and denominationally independent and is dedicated to the common good in the home region. The founders work on a voluntary basis and finance the funding activities exclusively from the income generated by the foundation's assets as well as from donations and additional contributions. Additional contributions permanently increase the foundation's capital, while donations are promptly used for projects.

Mission & Vision
"Creating community spirit – helping" is the motto of the Stiftung Oderbruch. Our self-understanding is civic responsibility: We believe that freedom and democracy require personal commitment. We support sustainable projects and assist those in need in our home region.
Target groups
The funding is primarily aimed at non-profit projects and individuals in need in the Oderbruch region. This includes initiatives in the fields of culture, education, youth and elderly care, environmental and nature conservation, local heritage and monument preservation, volunteer fire brigades, as well as social initiatives. The foundation supports individuals, associations, and local initiatives that make a sustainable contribution to the common good.
