Mission & Vision
The Stiftung Orgelklang is committed to the preservation and acoustic restoration of historic organs in Protestant churches in Germany. It supports technical renovation and restoration measures, accompanying planning services, and expert assessments. In doing so, it works complementarily to state monument funding and other foundations to support congregations that cannot raise the necessary own funds on their own.
Target groups
Eligible for funding are church congregations of the member churches of the Evangelical Church in Germany as well as equivalent ecclesiastical sponsors and institutions. The prerequisite is that the organ to be funded is at least 70 years old, remains intended for liturgical use, is maintained by a qualified organ-building company, and the congregation provides an appropriate financial contribution.
