Stiftung Otto Eckart
About the funder
The Otto Eckart Foundation was established in 1996 by the long-time owner of the Pfanni factories, Consul (ret.) Otto Eckart, and became a legal entity upon approval by the government of Upper Bavaria. It exclusively and directly supports tax-privileged charitable purposes within the meaning of §§ 51 et seq. of the German Fiscal Code (AO). In its first 20 years, it distributed around 4 million euros and supports a wide range of initiatives – from educational projects to environmental and nature conservation in Guatemala, emergency and disaster relief, as well as art, culture, traditions, and international understanding.
