About the funder
The Stiftung Deutsche Pfadfinderschaft Sankt Georg was officially recognized on January 21, 1998, and as a private foundation contributes to securing the nonprofit youth work of the DPSG financially. It supports scouting projects and initiatives of the DPSG at the local, district, diocesan, and federal levels with grants and loans. Since its founding, the foundation has funded over 129 projects with more than €180,000, thereby providing a reliable, permanent foundation for the implementation of innovative and nationwide initiatives within the scouting context.

Mission & Vision
"Enabling good deeds!" is the mission of the foundation. It is committed to ensuring that Scouts can implement their ideas and engagement with the necessary financial resources. The foundation sees itself as a partner of the DPSG and its volunteers to promote responsible youth education and solidarity-based action.
Target groups
Groups, districts, dioceses, and the federal association of the German Scout Association Saint George (DPSG) that carry out scouting projects of regional or supraregional significance are supported. The target group primarily consists of children and young people as well as their leaders, who wish to live and further develop the transmission of values, leadership, and social experience through collaborative work.
