STIFTUNG PRO AUSBILDUNG METALL- UND ELEKTROINDUSTRIE

The Pro Training Foundation for the Metal and Electrical Industry was established in 2000 by the Employers' Association of the Metal and Electrical Industry Düsseldorf and Surroundings e. V. as a non-profit, operational foundation. It is committed across industries to a talent-oriented education chain from early childhood support to higher education. Together with partners from business, politics, and education, the foundation implements impact-oriented programs such as the Girls & Boys Academy, the Career Choice SEAL, STEM initiatives, and regional education partnerships. Its work is certified annually according to AZAV and is rated as highly effective by experts and participants.

Our mission is to comprehensively support young people in Düsseldorf and the Emscher-Lippe region by developing innovative educational programs across the entire education spectrum, from daycare centers to universities. We operate hands-on, invest all resources in self-initiated projects, and systematically measure their effectiveness. Together with companies, schools, universities, and public institutions, we aim to create equal educational opportunities and secure the skilled workforce of tomorrow.

The programs of the Pro Ausbildung Foundation are aimed at children and young people of all ages – from early childhood education through primary and secondary schools to university students. In addition, the foundation supports teachers, companies, and educational institutions in practical career and study orientation. The focus is on talent-oriented workshops and networks in the STEM field as well as on the certification of outstanding schools through the Career Choice SEAL.
