About the funder
The Stiftung Soziales Neuruppin was established in September 2008 by the city council of the Fontanestadt Neuruppin. Its objective is to promote youth and elderly care, arts and culture, monument protection and preservation, local heritage and regional studies, as well as sports and other charitable purposes. The foundation serves to maintain and improve the social, cultural, and sporting infrastructure in the Fontanestadt Neuruppin. It supports projects that strengthen the social cohesion of the residents and primarily promotes them through the provision of grants to clubs and associations, social institutions, and other organizations that fulfill tasks in accordance with the foundation’s purpose. Especially in areas with little or no external funding, the foundation aims to support projects of tax-privileged institutions.
