About the funder
The Stiftung Sozialwerk St. Georg is a non-profit foundation of the Sozialwerk St. Georg e. V. organization, based in Gelsenkirchen. It supports innovative, inclusive, and sustainable projects that assist people with disabilities and care needs in the fields of health, education, culture, and working life. Since its founding, it has enabled health days, technical assistance systems (AAL), therapeutic riding, as well as equipment and infrastructure measures within the Sozialwerk’s facilities. In doing so, it works closely with partners from both the public and private sectors and contributes to improving the quality of life and self-determination of its target group.

Mission & Vision
The foundation is committed to enabling people with assistance needs to lead a self-determined life with the greatest possible participation and security. Its goal is to dismantle barriers and strengthen inclusion through targeted project funding. Its commitment is based on a collaborative partnership among professionals, volunteers, and supporters, as well as the ethical principle of placing the individual needs of those supported at the center.
Target groups
